Nine years spanning six years of research at the KIST AI and Robotics Institute, a KAIST MBA, and the founding of a deep-tech B2B startup.

I have led every stage of the enterprise AI lifecycle, from core algorithm design and cloud API integration to C-level technical pre-sales and enterprise proof-of-concept delivery.

My guiding principle is that AI should be an honest partner people can trust. I combine a rigorous grasp of the mathematics and computation behind AI with a humanities perspective, to design enterprise systems that are harmless, interpretable, and fully steerable.

Guided by this conviction, my journey has centered on developing environmental solutions for planetary resilience and building AI tools to amplify individual human agency, empowering the rising generation of solopreneurs.

Designed retrieval-augmented generation architectures connected to domain-specific client databases on the Claude API, and guided the build-out of agentic workflows that automate complex multi-step business logic.
Custom LLM evaluation framework
Built and deployed an evaluation framework that lets clients quantify Claude's advantages over competing models in Korean-language understanding, low hallucination rates, alignment, and steerability.
Technical advisory and executive engagement
Ran deep-dive workshops for CTOs and engineering teams, delivered cloud integration guidelines for data security, data residency, and in-region deployment on Google Cloud, and gave invited talks for the Korean TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup) council.

Developed a phase-space acoustic model that improved speech recognition rates in noisy environments, with prototyping in Python and C++, 2019 to 2023.
Noninvasive brain-computer interfaces
Implemented EEG and fNIRS noise filtering and real-time robot control algorithms for remote robot operation, 2019 to 2023.
Social robot intelligence
Researched human-robot interaction and contextual awareness for service robots, 2019 to 2023.
Surgical and space robotics
